COTHAR IMH // Intelligent Manufacturing Hub for space and defense

Mission control for the production floor.

One on-premises system that turns your work instructions into enforced procedures, tracks every serial and lot, mirrors each vehicle in a live digital twin, and checks every step with an AI that never leaves your building.

Runs on your servers, never ours

Installed on hardware you own, including air-gapped networks. Procedures, serials and twin data stay inside your facility.

Built for ITAR and CMMC programs

Aligned with NIST SP 800-171 controls: MFA, lockout, TLS everywhere, role-gated edits and a full audit trail.

Your procedures, live the same week

Drop in the work-instruction folders you already have. They become step-enforced procedures without a retraining program.

Everything on the floor, one hub

COTHAR IMH replaces paper travelers and disconnected tools with a single execution system. Work orders, procedures, people, machines and the digital twin share one record, so every stage is monitored, every action is verified, and every part is traceable.

  • Procedures from your files

Point IMH at existing work-instruction folders and they become live procedures with enforced sequencing, sign-offs, acceptance ranges (min/max, nominal ± tolerance) and conditional steps.

  • AI-validated execution

Each step is verified before the next unlocks. Missing, skipped or out-of-range work is caught at the station, with automatic buyoffs and timestamped records.

  • A digital twin per vehicle

Every program, vehicle and procedure has an embedded 3D twin with per-component status, so you see what is built, in work, on hold or rejected.

  • Traceability and NCR

Serial and lot tracking from receiving to delivery, nonconformance workflows and remote approvals built into the same record.

  • Connected floor

Progress flows in from tools, sensors and devices. Technicians can run procedures hands-free on AR headsets.

  • Multi-site, made yours

Sites, roles, resources, equipment and categories are all configurable. Edit and delete rights follow site roles, admin to engineer to operator.

Aphrodite, the assistant on the floor

Aphrodite is the voice assistant built into IMH. It knows the procedure, the part and the station a technician is standing at, and it runs entirely on your own hardware. Nothing is sent to a cloud.

TechnicianWhat's the torque for step 12?
AphroditeStep 12, manifold bolts: 45 N·m, ±2, pattern A, C, B, D. Use the calibrated wrench at station 7, cal due in 41 days.
TechnicianLeak check reads 0.9.
Aphrodite0.9 sccm is above the 0.5 limit for rev C. Step 13 is on hold. Opening NCR-0288 and notifying the quality engineer on shift. Last three units on this valve read 0.2 to 0.3.
TechnicianShow me the retainer clip orientation.
AphroditeOn your headset now: clip mark at 12 o'clock, flat side toward the manifold. Say "done" when it's seated and I'll run the check.
  • Spoken, step-by-step guidance at each station, with the drawing, the spec and the acceptance range for the exact revision in work.
  • Context-aware troubleshooting drawn from your procedures, past readings on the same part and open nonconformances.
  • Training that compounds. New technicians get the knowledge that used to live only in experienced heads, so onboarding takes days instead of months.
  • On-premises by design. The model runs on the IMH server inside your network, under the same role and audit controls as everything else.

Built for programs that get audited

Controls are part of the product, not a project you run after install. The table is what a security reviewer asks for first.

DeploymentYour servers, your network. Linux hosts, Windows available. An offline install bundle supports air-gapped facilities, and remote onboarding means no vendor visits to your floor.
Data residencyProcedures, serials, lots, twin state, media and backups are stored, edited and backed up on your internal server. COTHAR never holds your production data.
Framework alignmentNIST SP 800-171 / CMMC 2.0 controls for CUI environments, with ITAR-appropriate access boundaries and an export-controlled data posture.
Identity and accessMulti-factor authentication, account lockout, 12-hour sessions, and site roles as the single source of truth for what each person can see, edit or delete.
Transport and integrityTLS required on every connection, versioned signed releases, and a node-locked licence tied to each installation.
Quality recordsTimestamped buyoffs, NCR workflows, remote approvals and a complete audit trail per serial, exportable for customer and government reviews.

From first call to first verified part

No hardware to buy from us and no travel on your calendar. Trial on your own machines, keep it if it earns its place.

  1. Video call

Thirty minutes on your products, stations and the procedures you run today. We map the workflow with your engineering and operations leads.

    Week 0
  2. Install on your hardware

Remote setup of IMH on a server you own. Air-gapped sites use the offline bundle. Roles, sites and categories are configured to your facility.

    Week 1
  3. Load your procedures

Your work-instruction folders go in and come out as live procedures. We tune validation rules and acceptance ranges with your quality team.

    Weeks 1–2
  4. Run it for 60 days

Technicians execute real work orders with Aphrodite and the twin. You measure errors, onboarding time and throughput, then decide.

COTHAR

We build AI-native manufacturing software for defense, space and advanced industrial organizations, from Irvine, California.

Modern factories generate enormous amounts of unused data. Our job is to close the loop between design intent, execution and what actually happened on the floor, by putting AI inside how work is planned, executed, verified and improved.

We don't sell generic software. Each deployment is shaped around a customer's processes, constraints and risk profile, so that verification, traceability and defensible decisions hold up in regulated, mission-critical production.

  • Space launch and satellite assembly Vehicles, stages, payload integration
  • Shipbuilding and naval systems Multi-site, long-cycle programs
  • Defense primes and tier suppliers CUI and ITAR environments
  • High-volume defense manufacturing Fleet and munitions production
